Although this is spring which is a time for fresh starts, and new adventures we usually can’t step out on the road without saying goodbye to something or someone. While I consider my options for this year I find myself looking back over the events of 2012 with a few tears. Some tears of joy and some of sadness. In 2012 I said goodbye to a ministry that was very dear to my heart. I did not want it to end but sometimes the Lord allows situations to happen that force us out of our comfort zones and launches us on the next step of our journey. I will always be blessed for the tears, the laughter, the teaching, and the love that graced my life during the time spent in that ministry and I am forever changed by it. I will miss each person that participated in TFNC program and I will always hold them in my heart forever. Despite the pain I felt when it was over I would not have missed it for the world and I am so grateful to the Lord for allowing me to take part in it. It has been very hard for me to let go and watch you all go on to other phases in your life and I think it is time I do the same. Until we all meet again in this life or in the next I would like to dedicate the song This is not Goodbye by The Sidewalk Prophets to Donna, Eleanor,Franco and all the members of the TFNC.
This is not Goodbye

My Betrothed

Hosea 2 : 19-20
“I will betroth you to Me forever;
Yes I will betroth you to Me
In righteousness and justice,
In loving kindness and mercy;
I will betroth You to me in faithfulness,
And You should know the Lord.”
Because we were bought with a price we are slaves to Christ and he is our Master. But Christ’s love for us runs much to deep for us to leave our relationship with him at that level. He tells us in Hosea that he wants to be betrothed to us forever. The difference between the two relationships, Intimacy. Imagine the Lord of the universe wants to know us intimately, all our secrets, all our pain, all our dreams and all our failures. To know our joys and sorrows, to stand by us and love us for eternity. Lucky me!
To my Betrothed I wait for You I look both day and night
Yearning to be near to You I hold on with all my might
You are the one who knows my anger, hurt and shame,
You feel my every pain
Instead of condemnation, Your grace helps me rise again
With gentle tones You correct my wrongs which challenge me to grow
Awestruck by Your mercy, forgive me, for the wrongs that I have sown
Your Outstretched arms they shelter me, from sins intensity, as life storms rage and blow
When the rain subsides You talk with me helping me to know You and Your Word`s decree
And I share all my dreams with You on what I hope to be
Rejoicing in my baby steps You help my eyes to see
Your joy it bubbles forth in me filling up my heart with glee
As I walk along Your path, Your always here with me
Because of You, I am forever changed, transformed by all Your love
With up turned eyes I will wait for You, my Betrothed from up above

Ephesians 3 vs 20
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly
abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that works in us.
Our Loving Lord is to be adored in all that we say and do
For He has made the heavens glow and painted the skies so blue
He has blessed us all with our first breath and caused us all to grow
Into a blessing or a curse, our choice to be friend or foe
For those that love Him and stand true He will help to the end of time
To heal the hurts of mankind to restore and stretch our minds
To make us open to His truth, real treasure we will mine
The kind that transforms in humble grace, forever throughout time
His provision is provided daily for those that the take time to ask
To those that seek His face and have great need, His power is put to the task
And to the depths of our emptiness my Lord gives night and day
His vision can solve any problem and with His riches he can repay
Any debt that we have tallied His love it keeps no score
His mercy is never-ending and He will love us forever more

Psalm 141:8
But my eyes are upon You O God the Lord :In
You I take refuge; Do not leave my soul destitute
Psalm 16:11
You reveal the path of life to me;
In Your presence is abundant joy;
In Your right hand are abundant pleasures
In You I have life.
You are the Hope of the world, an end to strife
Where I end You begin
Causing good to triumph over sin
Your eyes see beyond the veil
Causing my steps to stay upon the path, even death pales
Because You have plucked me from the mire and purified my soul
Trials that You have allowed refine me in the fire and I am as pure gold
Even in death You are there, seated at the father`s right hand
Ready to welcome me to a place where pain, tears, sickness, evil, sadness are stripped from the Land
Here I will be received by You, bathed in Your light, I am Yours alone
I will go out in joy, to be received by my family, finally home
